Carbis Bay
Carbis Bay in Cornwall is the location of the June 2021 G7 summit.
The local hotel, Carbis Bay Hotel and Estate, is situated just off of the village's beach and will play host to leaders from countries such as the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and, this year, even invited leaders from Australia, India and South Korea, in June.
Carbis Bay is a seaside resort and village, home to less than 3,500 people (according to the 2001 census) and is located around a mile south east of St Ives on the western coast of St Ives Bay.
The village is connected to the national railway network, using the St Erth to St Ives branch and sits between St Ives and the old mining town of Lelant. It can also be reached by the A3074 road, which links both villages and joins the A30 at Rose-an-Grouse.
Famed for its gold sandy beach, it attracts visitors all year round.
