Fowey
Fowey (pronounced Foye) is a charming historic harbour town on Cornwall's south coast. The annual Fowey Royal Regatta takes place every August. There is a strong literary following in Fowey with a festival each year. Daphne du Maurier lived and wrote from Ferryside, Menabilly and Kilmarth and Kenneth Graham based some of The Wind in the Willows on the area.
