A biker has died following a crash in Cornwall. The collision involved a motorcycle and tractor on the A394 at Germoe, near Helston, just before 6pm on Tuesday, July 31.
Emergency services were called to the collision at around 5.55pm. Devon and Cornwall Police has this morning (July 31) sadly confirmed a local man in his 70s, who was riding the motorcycle, had died at the scene.
His next of kin have been made aware, the force continued. Following an overnight investigation, police are now appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the crash.

Devon and Cornwall Police said in a statement: "The road was closed in both directions whilst the scene was examined by specialist forensic collision investigators. Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience while that was carried out.
"Anyone with any relevant information and dash-cam footage which may assist the investigation is asked to contact police via our website or by calling 101 quoting log 808 30/07/24."
