Developing Green Talent Trainees

Location: Cornwall Wildlife Trust HQ, Five Acres, Allet, Truro

Description: Working closely with the reserves officer, you will actively participate in diverse habitat management across woodland, scrubland, grassland, heathland, wetland, and hedgerow areas. The predominant focus remains on outdoor activities, offering a hands-on conservation experience. Project Manager - Penwith Landscape Recovery

Description: As project manager, you will manage and work with staff, budgets, activity, landowners, stakeholders, and funder liaison. You will also develop the Penwith landscape recovery project through the two-year project development phase and deliver a proposal for a 20 year long project implementation phase for Penwith.

Description: In this role, you will work alongside project staff to develop biological monitoring schemes to increase coverage for existing datasets and complement the projects aims for Penwith. The role will also include building up an understanding of historical change across the Penwith landscape by working with the ERCCIS Manager, nature reserves staff and other partnership project staff to collate existing information to be used to support the Penwith landscape recovery project.

Volunteer & Community Ecology Officer

Location: Cornwall Wildlife Trust HQ, Five Acres, Allet, Truro

Description: This role will work collaboratively with local groups and organisations in the project area to engage local children and young people with their natural environment to increase their connection with and build their understanding of local nature and wildlife, recruit, train and manage project volunteers to work on habitat intervention and / or species and habitat surveying, and coordinate the structured monitoring programme across the project using trained volunteers, establishing a structured framework that can continue beyond the project.

Operations Manager

Location: Gweek

Description: In this role, you will work very closely with the general manager and help run all aspects of the business and the team on a day-to-day basis to deliver a memorable visitor experience and achieve financial targets in the commercial areas. You will also ensure that the presentation of the site meets the quality standards set and that the entertainment provided is of a high quality.
