Second Line IT Support Engineer
Description: In this role you will be the point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers and mobiles. You’ll reset passwords, install software and do what you can to enhance user experience. You’ll also keep an eye on network performance, address connectivity issues and work through advanced troubleshooting and escalate issues as required.
Commercial Specialist
Description: A&P Falmouth are looking for a commercial specialist who will take on the responsibility for developing estimates and variations for our customers, keeping them at the forefront of what we do.
Design Engineer
Description: Some of the main duties of the role include: conducting ship surveys as required to aid accurate design specifications, maintaining a progress log of allocated design work, working to strict deadlines and achieving KPIs, and administrating design documentation for allocated tasking.
Electricians
Description: In this role, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on various marine vessels, as well as on the facility itself. You will also be responsible for ensuring these operate efficiently and safely.
Fitters
Description: You’ll be responsible for fitting and assembling mechanical components and systems onboard ships, ensuring systems function with accuracy and efficiency. Previous experience as a fitter or in a similar role in a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment would be ideal, but they are also keen to hear from people who are eager to learn and be trained to their standards of work.
Fleet Programme Manager
Description: As a fleet programme manager, you will be working as part of a combined team of A&P and Ministry of Defence staff providing all engineering support to a number of Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels. You will be responsible for developing a scheme of work for all planned maintenance activities, engaging with the customer to support specification development, liaising with suppliers, original equipment manufacturers and specialists to ensure their delivery of necessary support.
Machinist
Description: As a machinist, you’ll use a range of machining tools to accurately manufacture ship components and parts. Previous experience as a machinist or in a similar role in a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment would be a plus but they are also keen to hear from people who are eager to learn and be trained to their standards of work.

Pipeworker
Description: In this role, you will install, repair and maintain piping systems onboard ships according to engineering specifications, fabricate and assemble pipe components using various techniques including welding, and conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure the integrity and safety of pipework installations and repair.
Riggers / Slingers (Heavy Lifting)
Description: In this role, you will rig and hoist heavy equipment, machinery and components using cranes, hoists and other lifting equipment, inspect and prepare loads that need to be moved, and select and prepare appropriate rigging gear.
Steelworkers / Fabricators / Welders
Description: In this role, you will fabricate and assemble steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications, and use metalworking machines such as hydraulic presses, rolls, shears, cutting torches, grinders and drills to bend, cut, form, punch, drill or otherwise form steel/aluminium components.
Trainee Project Manager
Description: As a trainee project manager, you will develop project plans and schedules, manage project budgets, procurement and resource allocation, lead the team monitoring progress, manage, monitor, maintain and report the progress and financial achievement of the project to the leadership team, and coach and develop project engineers in their functions, with the ultimate aim of completing their career path to the project manager position.
Tug Master
Description: As a tug master, you will have authority over all on board, safely navigate and ensure that the crews are ready at all times to carry out on-board duties, be the overriding authority and make decisions necessary for all on board, the tug, safety, health and environment, and to prevent pollution, and vitally you’ll lead, instruct and motivate the crew clearly and concisely.
