A main road in Cornwall was closed after a car flipped this afternoon (Wednesday, July 31). According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the A388 was shut in both directions near Callington.
The crash took place between Stoke Climsland and Callington shortly before 2pm. The road reopened and traffic returned to normal by 2.55pm.
Inrix says: "Road cleared and traffic returned to normal, overturned car removed on A388 in both directions between Duchy College turn off (Stoke Climsland) and Plymouth turn off (Callington). Sensors show traffic is now able to pass the scene."

Car flips onto roof
Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called to reports of a car on its roof on Launceston Road, at Kelly Brae, Callington at around 1.40pm today, Wednesday 31 July. There are no reports of any injuries at this time.
"Emergency services are at the scene. The incident is ongoing."
