Train services in Cornwall were cancelled and delayed this morning (Thursday, July 25) after a fallen tree blocked the lines. Services between Liskeard and Looe were unable to run as a fallen tree blocked the tracks.
Passengers were warned that services running through these stations may be cancelled. Disruption was expected to last through the morning commute time.
Great Western Railway warned passengers of the disruption. It said: "Due to a tree blocking the railway between Liskeard and Looe the line is blocked.
"Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled. Disruption is expected until 09:15".

Train services return to normal
Great Western Railway has said all train lines are now reopened.
Following a tree blocking the railway between Liskeard and Looe the line is now open.
Impact: Train services running to and from these stations are now running normally.

Bus replacement
GWR has told passengers tickets can be used on bus routes following the disruption to the train lines.
Go Cornwall Bus route 73: Liskeard (Station), St Keyne (Community Centre), Sandplace (Station), Looe (Station) are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice. Arrangements have been made for Great Western Railway rail tickets to be accepted for these journeys.
