A man been arrested at a school in Newquay after reportedly getting onto the roof of the building. Emergency services were called to reports of concern for a man outside Treviglas Academy at around 6.50am today (Monday, July 8).
Devon and Cornwall Police were also told the man was on the roof of the building. The emergency services attempted to engage with the man, who came down safely at around 9.30am, a spokesperson for the police force said.
A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and remains in police custody.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 6.50am to reports of concern for a man outside Treviglas School. It was further reported that the man was on the roof of the building.
"Emergency services attended and attempted to engage with the man, who came down safely at around 9.30am. A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage. He remains in police custody."
