I'm sure we all remember that one teacher who made an impact on our lives. Whether it was the one who was always keen to have a chat, the one who supported you through a rough patch, or the one who simply made lessons fun and engaging.
From early years right through to college, teachers play an important role in shaping pupils and many stories of success in adult life can often be traced back to the influence and impact of certain teachers. Cornwall is blessed with some of the country's best teachers - and we want to give them a shout out.
Today (June 19) is National Thank a Teacher Day and that means it is your chance to say a huge thank you to that someone who has made a positive difference. Previously, we asked our readers on Facebook to let us know about their favourite teachers and with over 800 comments on the post there certainly seems to be a lot of appreciation for our hardworking teachers in Cornwall.
