Police were called to a reports of a man on the tracks at Truro train station this morning (Friday, July 26). Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police were called to reports of a concern for the welfare of man on the train tracks around 6.30am today.
One witness told CornwallLive the man was sat on the train lines. They said: "man on train tracks ( now) at Truro train station. Police been called ...train delays could be possible."
A picture from the scene shows a man sat alone on the tracks. A train can also be seen waiting to leave the platform as the man blocks the line.

It is believed that emergency services attended and the man was safely removed from the line. Police have confirmed that he was left in the care of family.
A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Officers were called at around 6.30am to report of concern for a man at Truro Train Station.
"All was in order and officers have left him in the care of family."
