Morrisons has announced a new addition to their Christmas pie range - including a pasty containing Brussel sprouts.
The Christmas Dinner Pasty, which costs £2, is an odd festive take on the Cornish classic, but promises exactly what it says on the tin - a Christmas dinner inside a pasty.
The flaky pastry exterior that we all know and love here in Cornwall has been filled with British turkey breast, Cornish potatoes, cranberries, sage and onion stuffing, a whole hidden pig in blanket, rich turkey gravy - and the sprouts.

This isn't the first time Morrisons have attempted a nod to Cornwall's much loved pasty. Back in 2018 the supermarket created a more extreme version of today's offerings, by shoving the contents of a three-course Christmas dinner into pasty with a starter, main and dessert.
Other yuletide treats have also hit the shelves for the first time this year, with customers able to get their hands on the Pig in Duvet Croissant and Festive Turkey Slice.
Returning favourites will include the Pork and Bramley Apple Sausage Rolls, Pork and Black Pudding Rolls and Brie and Cranberry Rolls.

Mark Pearson, Buying Manager at Morrisons, said: “We believe it’s never too early to get into the festive spirit. We’ve listened to customer feedback on the products we offered last year and have spent the last 12 months developing these exciting additions to our pie shop menu which we hope our customers will love. The range is great for purchasing on the go, or as a treat to share with friends and family to spread some Christmas cheer.”
Prices for the items on the Market Street Pie Shop festive menu start at £1.25 and they are available to buy now in all Morrisons stores nationwide that have a Market Street.
