A Cornish festival celebrating music, food and fun from all over the world is returning to Truro next month. Organisers say the fourth Celebration of Culture will include everything "from Cornish to Cuban" - and offer visitors a chance to explore the different cultures within Cornwall communities.
The free family event will include live music, international food vendors and free and paid activities throughout the day. It will open with the voices of the 200-strong Rock Choir and close with rousing traditional Cornish trio, Jackson's Claret.
Other entertainment will see Notting Hill Carnival favourites Real Steel, from Plymouth, local ska and reggae favourites Skata-Lkes, Cuban and Latin band Kewbanda. Fusion band Catatumbo will mix rhythms from the band's Venezuelan and Cornish heritages.

Food options will include Caribbean, African and French cuisine and a "Cornish BBQ". Refreshments will be served at a bar for adults and the Hall for Cornwall cafe, where children can enjoy a quieter moment with a free story time session, led by local literary artists.
The event has been made possible by donations from Cornwall Community Foundation, Boardmasters Festival, local councils and Truro Business Improvement District, with partnership support from Hall for Cornwall and Cornwall council. Organisers say they are aiming to make as much of the day free as possible and there will be free arts and crafts and face painting for children - and adults - throughout.
Abi Huthinson, arts and culture lead at festival organiser Black Voices Cornwall, said: "Thanks to the support of local and national funders, we are able to provide an event that brings the whole community together so that we celebrate what makes us different and what we have in common - we hope that the day gives people a chance to learn something new, enjoy local talent and have memories of a fun day out with family and friends.
"Cornwall is a unique place with a strong cultural history and we are really proud to showcase heritages both native and more recent in our wonderful city."
The Celebration of Culture festival will take place on Lemon Quay in Truro and in the city's Hall for Cornwall on Saturday, August 3, from 11am-6pm. A free prize draw to win a VIP experience at the event can be entered HERE.
